Odisha received an investment proposal of Rs 13 lakh crore, 145 mous signs – India tv hindi

Odisha government Has signed 145 consent letters with various companies at its two -day trade summit. These agreements propose a total investment of Rs 12.89 lakh crore under the projects, which will create 8.94 lakh jobs. This was stated by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the conclusion of the state’s major trade summit ‘Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha (MIO) Conclave, 2025. Majhi said, “A total of 145 MoUs (MoUs) were signed at this summit. Agreements have been made for investment of Rs 12.89 lakh crore through these MoUs. ”

These are the top investors

Officials said that among the top investors at the conference, Adani Group (Rs 2.28 lakh crore), Vedanta Limited (Rs 1 lakh crore), Tata Group (Rs 87,944 crore), Mahanadi Coalfields (Rs 81,900 crore) JSW Group (Rs 75,000 crore), NLC (Rs 52,000 crore), SAIL (Rs 50,800 crore), NTPC Limited (Rs 36,131 crore), Nalco (Rs 35,000 crore), JSPL (Rs 25,570 crore), Aditya Birla Group (Rs 19,017 crore) and JSL (Rs 15,000 crore ) Are included.

The most proposals came in these sectors

Most investment proposals Metal and Mineral Sector (48 MoU), Electrical and Renewable Green Energy (25), Agricultural and Food Processing (21), Chemicals, Petro-Representation and Plastic (17), Clothing and Progress (11) and Green came into energy equipment (nine). Other proposals came in areas such as cement, logistics infrastructure, shipbuilding and recycling, general manufacturing, biotech and pharmaceuticals, engineering goods, aerospace and defense, IT and ESDM, paper, wood, forest products and ceramic, glass, granite and tires.

More than 8.94 lakh employment opportunities will be created

The Chief Minister said that the implementation of these agreements will create more than 8.94 lakh employment opportunities in the state. He said, “This will change a big change in the socio-economic situation of the state and will increase Odisha’s inclusive growth.” Majhi said that apart from signing the MoU, the state government has also received 448 proposals for investment of Rs 3.84 lakh crore. This is expected to create 3.92 lakh employment opportunities. The Chief Minister said that representatives from 16 countries, including representatives of partner countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, attended the conference. He said that Odisha is an attractive place on the global investment map.

Many prominent people of the Indian industry including Anil Aggarwal, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Sajjan Jindal, Naveen Jindal, Karan Adani participated in this conference. Majhi thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who inaugurated the state’s major trade summit on Tuesday and encouraged investors to set up their projects in Odisha. Majhi said, “We are committed to achieving the target of rich Odisha 2036 and contributing to developed India 2047.” The Chief Minister also announced that the ‘Make in Odisha’ exhibition would be extended by one day to 31 January to get better understanding of Odisha’s rise as the emerging industrial center of the country, especially the country.
