Students are asking such questions in the helpline of the Board of Secondary Education (Mashiman). The 10th and 12th board exams are going to be held from 25th February. In such a situation, about 400 calls are being received every day in Mashiman’s helpline.
Last year about 1.5 lakh calls were received. The number of calls to the helpline by students has increased. In this, more than 90 percent students are asking questions regarding exam preparation and how to make an action plan to pass all the subjects.
Order has been issued to re-implement Best of Five
The counselor says that the abolition of Best of Five was earlier announced, but now an order has been issued to implement it again. Now there is less time for the exam. In such a situation, students are facing more exam stress. Counseling is being done to deal with this.
Questions asked from 8 in the morning to 8 at night
Students can call Mashiman’s helpline number – 18002330175 every day from 8 am to 8 pm and ask questions to counselors and subject experts. This helpline service has been started from January 1, which will remain operational till December.
Students are being counseled
Helpline counselor Kavita Choubey said that class 10 students have only one question whether best of five will be applicable this year or not. They are being informed that best of five will remain applicable. At the same time, students also have this question that how to prepare to get good marks. Counseling of students is being done.
They are being told about everything from time management to reducing stress and preparing for exams. Many students are also asking the question how to avoid the habit of internet media. Students are being told measures to avoid mobile and internet media during examinations.

Question – Sample paper has been uploaded on the board’s website. Can you get good marks from this?
Answer – You can prepare from the sample papers uploaded on the website. Prepare the entire syllabus for good marks.
Question – I like making reels on internet media. Are you not able to study because of this habit?
Answer: First of all you decide your priority. Your strong will will propel you away from the reel and towards your goal.
Question – The fear of failing in the exam keeps haunting me, how to overcome it?
Answer: The more you practice, the more your confidence will increase. Your fear will go away and you will do better.
Question – How to prepare for the exam, so that you can give equal time to each subject.
Answer: You should prepare by managing time for every subject. Stay away from internet media now. When you get time, discuss important matters with friends.
Question: I remember something and forget it the next day. Are you afraid that I might forget everything in the examination hall?
Answer – Your practice and your grip on the subject matter will increase your confidence. You practice by writing again and again.
