This problem can gradually take the form of cancer. This was revealed in a one -year report by the Oral Cancer Screening Center at Hamidia Hospital.
574 patients examined, 75 percent found symptom of not opening mouth
In the last one year, 574 patients were examined in the Dental Disease Department of Hamidia Hospital, out of which 75 percent of the patients found low open opening, it was an early sign of cancer.
In addition, prolonged blisters in the mouth were also found to be a major symptom of cancer. According to Dr. Anuj Bhargava, the head of the Dentistry Department, if the blisters in a person are not cured for six months, it can be a danger bell.
In such a situation, a specialist doctor should be contacted immediately. It can turn into a pre-cancer position if not treated on time. The Oral Ankology Center at Hamidia Hospital was started a year ago. It is the first government center in Madhya Pradesh, where only oral cancer and related diseases are tested and treated.
Three types of cancer in the mouth
- Cheeks and gum cancer: People eating tobacco keep it between the cheeks and gums, which can cause cancer there. It is found in 90 percent of cases of oral cancer.
- Tongue cancer: Eating betel nut makes teeth sharp, which cuts the tongue again and again. The wounds made from this can gradually take the form of cancer. It is found in seven-eight percent of patients.
- Palate Cancer: Drinking bidi upside down or eating extremely hot things burns the palate, which can cause cancer.
