Pariksha pe charcha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today discussed the examination with school children. Apart from PM Modi, many celebrities were also involved in this. More than 3 crore students had registered for this program and apart from them 19.80 lakh teachers and 5.20 lakh parents also registered for this special program. This was the eighth edition of this special program launched by PM Modi. During this special program today, PM Modi shared many profitable tips about time management, preparation for the exam and self development and also encouraged the children.
Do not be book worm
While addressing the children, PM Modi, especially asked them to avoid becoming a book worm. He urged the students to take care of their mental health and adopt a balanced lifestyle to avoid examination pressure. PM Modi said that students should understand that examination is only one part of life and their overall development is more important than its results. He also advised that the students should maintain their interest in their studies as well as other creative activities, so that they remain mentally healthy and active. He said that understanding every aspect of life and gaining various experiences is as important to get good education. PM Modi also said that if a student is getting any difficulty in studies, then he should see him as a challenge and not as a burden.
PM Modi’s special advice for parents
PM Modi said that parents should not impose their wishes on children, because every child is good in different things. Like Sachin Tendulkar is good in the game, but not in studies. Once I was asked that if I had not been the Prime Minister and a minister, which department would have chosen? I said that I would choose the “skill development” department, because the skill is very important. Parents should focus on children’s skills. The PM told the children that explain to the parents that if you are unhappy and tired, will you be able to take the exam well? We are not robots, humans. The PM also said that children should not make pressure by closing only in books. They want open sky and some things of their choice.
