PM Awas Yojana: If you are earning more than 15 thousand, then you will not get the benefit of PM housing

Prem Jat, Naiduniya, Indore. The central government has extended the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) for five years to meet the housing requirements of homeless families living in rural areas. The work of preparing the waiting list will be done in 334 panchayats of the district by 31 March.

10 criteria have been set to add raw houses and the names of non -roof families to the list. The completion of any criteria will be out of the list. For the first time, two -wheeler families are being included in this survey, but if any person in the family is more than 15 thousand per month, then it will not be eligible for the scheme. That is, the person earning five hundred rupees daily will be out of the scheme.

Surveyor appointed

The state government has started the work of list of housingless families in rural areas through surveyor at the panchayat level. A surveyor has been appointed in every panchayat in Indore district. Only the person receiving approval from the state level will be able to do the survey on the housing plus portal.

Information of all the beneficiaries will have to be uploaded online. Families living in pucca houses, paved roof and more than two rooms will not be included in this. It is worth noting that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) has been increased from 2024-25 to 2028-29. A permanent waiting list is being prepared for this.

The survey was done in 2018

The survey to prepare a list of housingless people in the district was done in 2018. Based on this list, houses have been provided to 12 thousand people by 2022 in the first phase. In 2024, the target of 2200 houses was achieved by the District Panchayat and its orders have been issued. In January 2025, the target of nine thousand houses has again been achieved. Its process is being done.

You will also be able to apply for yourself

In each panchayat, the surveyor will have to enter the information of the beneficiary on the Housing Plus app. The surveyor will be able to upload the information of the beneficiary only after verification on the basis of itself. If the surveyor is reluctant to upload the information, then the beneficiaries will also be able to upload their information by doing face verification on the portal. This list will be displayed separately.

These ten criteria will not be fulfilled

  • Motor driven three-four wheelers
  • Mechanized three-four wheel agricultural equipment
  • Farmer credit card of more than 50 thousand
  • A family member should be a government employee
  • Families with registered non-agricultural enterprises with the government
  • Any family member earns more than 15 thousand rupees per month.
  • Income tax pays.
  • Paying professional tax.
  • 2.5 acre or more lying lord of irrigated land.
  • Being the lord of five acres or more untold land.

List of eligible families will be made

The survey is being conducted for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural till 31 March. This work will be done through surveyor in all the panchayats of the district.
