Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Odisha on a two-day visit. He participated in the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Conference in Bhubaneswar today. During this, he said in his address that our heritage is visible at every step in Odisha. Even hundreds of years ago, our traders from Odisha used to make long sea voyages to places like Bali, Sumatra, Java. Bali Yatra is organized even today in this memory. This is the place named Auli in Odisha which is a great symbol of peace. When there was a time in the world to build empires on the strength of the sword, our Emperor Ashoka had chosen the path of peace here. This is the fruit of our heritage with the inspiration of which today India is able to tell the world that the future lies not in war but in Buddha, hence it becomes very special for me to welcome you on this land of Odisha.

“The reason for praise is our social value”

He said, “I have always considered the Indian diaspora as the ambassadors of India. I feel very happy when I meet all my friends all over the world. The love I receive is unforgettable. Your blessings always remain with me.” PM Modi said, “In the last 10 years, I have met every leader of the world. Everyone praises you a lot. One reason for this is social value. We are not only the mother of democracy, but democracy is our way of life. “

“We don’t have to learn diversity.”

PM Modi further said, “We do not have to learn diversity, our life depends on it. Wherever we go, we respect the rules and culture of that country. We serve the society of that country with full honesty. Along with everyone, India also keeps beating in our hearts.”

“Unprecedented development work in India”

He said, “Today’s India is moving forward at a fast pace. The scale at which development work is being done in India is unprecedented. In just 10 years, India has brought 25 crore people out of poverty. Only 10 India has become the 5th largest economy in the world in a few years. India will become the 3rd largest economy in the world.”

The Prime Minister said, “When India’s Chandrayaan reached Shiv Shakti Point, everyone was proud. Today the world is surprised to see the strength of India. Be it global energy, aviation ecosystem, electric mobility, huge metro network, bullet train project. The pace of India’s progress is breaking all records. Today India is making Made in India fighter jets. The day is not far when you will come to India to celebrate Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas.
