PM Modi will inaugurate GIS in Bhopal, more than 300 big industrialists including Adani-Bidla will gather

The first Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal will be on 26-27 February, which will include more than 18,000 participants and 133 international representatives. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate it. 18 new policies will be applicable for investors. Major industrialists will also participate, which will promote investment.

18 new policies for investors

State Bureau, Naiduniya: Bhopal: For future Madhya Pradesh, Monday and Tuesday are going to be very special. On both days, more than 300 presidents, MDs and CEOs of the top industrial groups of the country are participating in the Global Investors Summit (GIS) at Indira Gandhi National Human Museum in Bhopal.

More than 18 thousand participants are participating, including 133 international delegates from more than 50 other countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. He will stay in the program till 10 am.

State Eighth Investors Summit

The first seven investors have been held in the state, in which the last year took place in Indore in 2023. This is the first summit in Bhopal, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is inaugurating in the state. Some Union ministers and central government officials are also attending the summit as speakers.

The state government started preparations for GIS with starting the Regional Investors Summit about a year ago. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a meeting with investors in Mumbai, Coimbatore, Bangalore and Kolkata.

Road-shows going to Germany, Britain and Japan

Germany, Britain and Japan went to road-shows and invited investors to invest. The government has also opened heart doors to investors. 18 policies have been made effective for investors’ convenience and benefits. The Prime Minister will release these policies.

This includes policies of industrial, food, export, MSME, start-ups, GCC, semi-conductors, drones, tourism, film production etc. Through this, grants and other benefits will be given to investors. The government hopes that all the records of the Investors Summit held before this GIS may break.

Department and theme based sessions will be

There will be different sessions in a two-day summit. It will have IT and technology, energy and renewable energy, tourism, MSME and startups, mining and urban development summit.

The themetic session will have sessions on different themes regarding pharma, skill development, road infrastructure, textiles, food processing, green energy, co-operative, startups. The partner country session will have different sessions with Global South, Japan, Germany, Canada, Poland.
