Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second edition of the India Mobility Global Expo on January 17. It is expected to have more than 100 new launches across automobiles, component products and technology. This expo will run from 17-22 January. The India Mobility Global Expo 2025 will bring together the entire value chain of the mobility ecosystem under one roof, from automobile manufacturers to component, electronics parts, tire and energy storage manufacturers, and automotive software firms and material recyclers, PTI reported.
Where is the expo being held
With the theme Beyond Boundaries: Co-Creating the Automotive Value Chain of the Future, the global expo aims to foster collaboration and innovation in the automotive and mobility sector with an emphasis on sustainable and cutting-edge technological advancements, the global expo will be held across three venues. – Will be organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, Delhi and India Expo Center & Mart in Greater Noida. India’s premier motor show, the biennial Auto Expo – now combined with the India Mobility Global Expo – moved to its original location, the erstwhile Pragati, after more than a decade at the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida. Will return to the grounds (now Bharat Mandapam).
who is organizing
The global expo, supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is being organized by industry associations including Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), Automotive Tire Manufacturers Association (ATMA), Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), NASSCOM, Indian Steel Association, Material Recycling Association of India and CII. There will be 5,100 international participants and it is estimated that more than 5 lakh people will attend from across the world.
Electric vehicle will be popular
Passenger vehicle market leader Maruti Suzuki will unveil its first electric vehicle SUV e Vitara and rival Hyundai Motor India Ltd is set to launch Creta EV on the same day. In the luxury segment, German major Mercedes-Benz will launch its electric EQS ​​Maybach SUV, while will showcase the electric concept CLA and G electric SUVs. Similarly, compatriot BMW will be showcasing the all-electric BMW i7 apart from launching its new BMW X3 among others. More than 40 new products are expected to be launched in this highlight of the India Mobility Global Expo, 2025.
India Construction Equipment Expo 2025
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will also host the first edition of the India Construction Equipment Expo (India CE Expo) 2025 from January 19-22 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, bringing together component manufacturers, suppliers, financiers, technology solution providers and others. Large scale participation of CE (construction equipment) industry is expected.
