The battle continues in political parties for the Delhi assembly elections. Pollution in Yamuna is also an issue in this election, due to which there is a round of allegations and counter-allegations between AAP and BJP. First former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused the BJP government of Haryana of poisoning Yamuna water. Then the current CM Atishi taunted Haryana CM Naib Saini. Now Saini has retaliated at Atishi. Saini said, “The AAP people of Delhi always curse the people of Haryana for their failures.”
First know what Kejriwal said about Yamuna?
Kejriwal said on Monday- “People of Delhi get water from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to drink. Water comes from Haryana in Delhi in Delhi. BJP’s Haryana government has poisoned Yamuna water.”
What did Atishi say?
Delhi CM Atishi posted on X for Naib Saini. Atishi wrote, “Naib Saini ji … I have come to know that you are going to Palla Ghat of Yamuna River. Will measure the quantity of Haryana that Haryana is sending poisonous water to Delhi.

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini has posted on X, taunting Delhi CM Atishi. Saini wrote, “You are welcome on the Yamuna coast of Palla village, AAP-Da Khadon Chief Minister Atishi Marlena. For lack of water, sometimes for stubble smoke, sometimes for all your failures, you always curse the people of Haryana. “

PM Modi also gave a statement about Yamuna
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also responded to the Yamuna case. Addressing a rally in Kartar Nagar, Delhi on Wednesday, PM Modi mentioned Kejriwal’s statement. PM Modi said- “A former CM of Delhi made abusive accusations against the people of Haryana. Can the people of Haryana add poison in their children’s water. The respected members drink this water.
Election Commission sought answers from Kejriwal
Meanwhile, the Election Commission has demanded evidence from AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal on the claim of ‘poison’ in his Yamuna water. On Tuesday, BJP lodged a complaint against Kejriwal. After which the Election Commission wrote a letter to Kejriwal and sought a reply from him till 8 pm on Wednesday night.

Report also sought from Haryana government
The Election Commission said- “Kejriwal made a very serious allegation of BJP’s Haryana government, which can cause hatred among the states. There is a rule of punishment of up to 3 years if such a charge is proved. A report has been sought from the amount of ammonia in the water of Yamuna. “
When voting in Delhi?
Voting will be held in all 70 seats in Delhi on February 5. Results will be declared on 8 February. A total of 699 candidates are in the fray for 70 assembly seats. The current term of the assembly ends on 23 February.
