Let us tell you that on the night of January 9, there was an explosion under a car near Gumtala police post. The police had described it as an incident of car radiator bursting. But Pakistani intelligence agency ISI-supported terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) took responsibility for the attack on its social media handle.
America-based gangster-turned-terrorist Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pashiya has also taken responsibility for this attack. Happy Pashia has already been the mastermind of many blasts in Amritsar and Gurdaspur.

Car damaged in the blast on January 9. Police have described it as a case of radiator burst.
Police is also investigating the radiator explosion Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar says that they are investigating every possible aspect. However, he clarified that this is a case of radiator burst in ASI Tejinder Singh’s car. According to police sources, local teams are examining the CCTV footage. Also, suspicious activities are being monitored on the roads leading to Gumtala Chowk.
Took help of bridge for attack Preliminary investigation has revealed that the attack was carried out by 2 or more bike riders. The attackers threw a grenade at the police post from Gumtala flyover. The explosive material fell back after hitting the green net installed at the post and exploded under the car. However, no police officer is officially confirming this.
Gumtala post is sensitive Gumtala post is sensitive due to its location. The flyover is just 15 feet away from the post. There is an army area on one side of the post and the Air Force station is situated on the back side. This is the reason that after the blast, along with the police, the army also reached the spot immediately.
As soon as information about the incident was received, army personnel reached the spot. In view of security, strict surveillance was maintained in the area.
Babbar Khalsa’s viral post wrote- wait and watch After the incident, a threatening post from Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar International went viral. In the post, Happy Pasiyan took responsibility for the grenade attack at Gumtala police station.
In the post he mentioned the alleged incident that happened with his two companions. He claims that two of his comrades were kidnapped and the leg of one was chopped off in a fake encounter. Happy Pasiyan cited this as the reason for the attack.
He has also threatened the families of soldiers and police officers in the post. Said that just as the families of his colleagues are being harassed, retaliatory action will be taken. Dainik Bhaskar does not confirm this post.

NIA has placed a reward of Rs 5 lakh on terrorist Pashiya. Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pashiya is a notorious gangster, who is now involved in terrorist activities and is currently living in America. He is working on the instructions of Harvinder Singh alias Rinda, a member of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and ISI.
Happy Pashiya took responsibility for the grenade attack in Sector-10, Chandigarh on social media. After this his name appeared in the bomb kept outside Ajnala police station. Taking action, the police also named Pashia’s mother and sister in this. Not only this, NIA has also placed a reward of Rs 5 lakh on him.
8 police stations and posts have been targeted By the end of December, these 8 attacks have taken place in Punjab. Out of these, terrorists sitting abroad were successful in carrying out 7 blasts, while one bomb was recovered from Ajnala police station without exploding. Police are not considering this attack as a grenade attack, if this is also a terrorist incident then 9 police stations and posts have become targets.
