Case-1: Fraud in the name of lottery

The constable posted at a police station of Police Zone-1 had received a message of getting a lottery of three lakh rupees in December, to take advantage of which the constable clicked on the link, then it was demanded for ten thousand rupees from it.

When the constable came in greed and sent that amount, after some time the message came that the money has gone to the wrong account, send it again. After this, the next day the constable was told that the amount of lottery is to come from abroad, in which tax will have to be paid in the name of GST and TCS. When he repaid that too, then a few later date was given.

On the other hand, the constable posted in the police station was telling many of his friends about lottery. Even he showed the certificate in the message. Later, colleagues told him that he had been cheated. He complained about losing 50 thousand rupees in the cell.

Case-2 Investment Greed

A policeman from the rank of inspector posted in the countryside area lost about 80 thousand rupees in the stock market. He was learning trading in the stock market. They get a message that 40 percent return will be available in two months. After this, the policeman joined his WhatsApp group in greed.

When I saw in the group for about a week, many people were getting messages to get good returns. The policeman felt that they too could get good returns. He initially invested 20 thousand rupees in the fake trading app of the thugs.

Later, when the return appeared to be increasing, then in two months the investment amount was brought to 80 thousand. At the same time, when he tried to withdraw money, the amount did not come out and then complained in January.

Policemen are also targeted
