The accused son Arshad told the police that he along with his father carried out this incident. In a video, Arshad confessed that he killed his sisters because the people of the colony were harassing his family and were conspiring to sell his sisters in Hyderabad. He also alleged that the slum dwellers snatched away their houses and made them homeless.

The accused told that due to family feud and harassment by the local people, a young man killed his mother and four sisters.

After five women of a family were found dead in a hotel room in Lucknow’s Naka area, neighbors in Agra described the family as reclusive and suffering from financial difficulties. A neighbor told that Arshad has been living in this house for the last 15 years. He told that he used to call himself from Delhi. The neighbor said that after becoming a Muslim, he had put a sticker of Hindu mantra on the outside of his house, he used to tell the neighbors that he was a resident of Delhi.
