BPSC Protest: The protest of the candidates protesting in Patna demanding cancellation of 70th BPSC PT (70th BPSC Pre Exam) became fierce on Sunday. When these candidates came out to gherao the Chief Minister’s residence, the police resorted to lathicharge to control the situation. Many students were injured in this action, which spread further anger among the protesters. After this incident of lathicharge, Jansuraj leader Prashant Kishor reached Gardnibagh protest site to meet the students. But there the students opposed him fiercely. It was seen in the video that there was a heated argument between the students and Prashant Kishore. Prashant Kishor was seen talking in a harsh tone, which enraged the students even more. The agitated students raised slogans of “Prashant Kishor go back”. During the protest, a student told Prashant Kishore that he was threatening. On this, Prashant Kishore asked the student his name and said, “What is your name? Do you become smarter than necessary?” This comment further heated the atmosphere. The student retorted, “Are you scaring me, sir?” During this time, there was a heated argument between Prashant Kishore’s colleagues and the protesting students. Some students alleged that the police resorted to lathicharge because of the provocative behavior of Prashant Kishore. Many students also said, “You got us beaten up,” and raised slogans against him. These students, who had gathered at Gandhi Maidan on Sunday, were moving towards the CM residence, when the police used force to stop them. After this incident, Prashant Kishore has been accused of hijacking the movement and instigating the students. A case has also been registered against him. This development not only raises questions about the transparency of the examination process, but also highlights the growing tension between students and the administration in the state.
