CM Yogi addressed the formal closing ceremony of Gorakhpur Mahotsav 2025 on Sunday. He said that the grand event of 45 days from January 13 to February 26 is starting from Monday. 40 crore population will come to Mahakumbh. No other country in the world has a population of 40 crores except India and China. You will get the good fortune of taking bath in the confluence of Triveni of Mother Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.

CM said that for the first time, Akshayvat Corridor, Maa Saraswati, Bade Hanuman Temple, Maharishi Vyas and Lord Ram and Nishadraj Corridor have been built for Maha Kumbh. Here, devotees will be able to enjoy the journey of Nag Vasuki and Dwadash Jyotirlinga and Char Dham through Viprika.

He told that Mahakumbh is being organized in an area of ​​10 thousand acres. By Friday night, 35 lakh devotees had reached here. He appealed to the public to offer khichdi to Baba Gorakhnath on Makar Sankranti and then visit Mahakumbh to understand the cultural and spiritual heritage. After 144 years, a special coincidence is taking place on January 29, when Lord Sun will be in Capricorn. Jupiter will be in Taurus. Mauni Amavasya Snan will start in Prayagraj at a specific time.

CM Yogi said that it has to be remembered that in the absence of culture, no nation can move its life story forward for a long time. Folk tales and traditions are the lifeblood of the nation.
