Wayanad:
It seems as if Priyanka Gandhi’s magic has worked in the by-election held on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. He is maintaining a great lead in the trends. Priyanka Gandhi is leading by one lakh votes. The Congress leader has contested for the first time from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala and has taken lead by more than one lakh votes. Ever since the counting of votes started, Priyanka Gandhi has been continuously ahead.
According to the Election Commission, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is ahead by more than one lakh votes and CPI veteran Satyan Mokheri is at second place and BJP candidate Navya Haridas is at third place. CPI leader Satyan Mokheri got around 50 thousand votes, while Navya Haridas got around 28 thousand votes.

Triangular contest in Palakkad by-election
Apart from this, in the triangular contest in Palakkad Assembly by-election, BJP candidate C Krishnakumar started with the lead, but now he has lagged behind. Congress candidate Rahul Mamkoothil has gone ahead. Leftist independent candidate supported by CPI(M) after leaving Congress, Dr. P. Sarin is in third place.
If we talk about Chelakkara assembly constituency, here CPI(M) candidate UR Pradeep is leading by 4,498 votes, but Congress election campaign managers are confident that their candidate Ramya Haridas will take the lead and win by around 1,600 votes because CPI(M) (M) Candidates have not been able to reach strong positions in Left bastions.
Priyanka Gandhi has lead in Wayanad
This is Priyanka Gandhi’s first election. There are 7 assembly seats under Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. These include Mananthavady (Reserved), Sultan Bathery (Reserved), Kalpetta, Thiruvambadi in Kozhikode district and Nilambur, Iranad and Wandoor seats in Malappuram district. Wayanad seat became vacant after the resignation of Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had left the Wayanad seat after winning from Rae Bareli in the Lok Sabha elections. Due to this, by-election has been held on this vacant seat, in which Priyanka Gandhi is contesting. He is also maintaining a steady lead.

Priyanka or Navya Haridas, who in Wayanad?
The by-election for Wayanad Lok Sabha seat was held on 13 November. 16 candidates are in the election fray. Priyanka is in the electoral fray for the first time, the Marxist Communist Party-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) has fielded Satyan Mokeri and the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (RJD) has fielded Navya Haridas.
