Railway Group D Vacancy 2025: If you want to work in Railways, then there is good news for you. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued notification for recruitment to various posts of Group D. The application process will start from 23 January 2025. The link of the application will be made available on the official website of RRB. According to the notification, a total of 32,438 Group D posts will be filled in Railways under Level 1.

What is the qualification to apply for Railway Group D?

To apply for Group D posts in Railways, it is mandatory for the candidates to have 10th pass from any recognized institute, and they should also have NCVT i.e. National Apprenticeship Certificate.

What is the age limit to apply for Railway Group D?

To apply for Railway Group D posts, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 26 years. However, special relaxation in the upper age limit has been prescribed for people belonging to reserved category. Let us tell you that the age calculation in this recruitment will be based on the age till July 1, 2025.

What is the fee to apply for Railway Group D?

To apply for Railway Group D posts, candidates falling under General, OBC, EWS category have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while for SC, ST, Physically Handicap, and women candidates the application fee is Rs 250. Let us tell you that you can pay the application fee through debit card, net banking, UPI, credit card, any means.

How is selection in Railway Group D?

For selection in Railway Group D, candidates first have to appear in a CBT i.e. computer based test, after which there is a physical efficiency test and medical test. Those who pass all these then undergo document verification and on this basis the final merit list is prepared.
