The effect of defeat in Mahavikas Aghadi is clearly visible. Uddhav Thackeray has been suggested by his party leaders to come out of Mahavikas Aghadi. It has been learned that when Uddhav had a meeting with the party candidates yesterday, in which the party leaders, MLAs and defeated candidates advised Uddhav that it is not right to contest elections relying on others, what was to happen happened, Now elections are to be held for a total of fourteen municipal corporations of Maharashtra along with BMC. Uddhav’s group should fight the local body elections on its own and should leave the support of Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP.

Senior leader of Uddhav’s Shiv Sena Ambadas Danve was also present in this meeting. Danve said that the party leaders feel that if the party had contested the elections alone on 288 seats in Maharashtra, they would have got more seats. Danve refrained from saying that Uddhav will fight separately from MVA, but he did say that if the party takes such a decision to strengthen its organization in entire Maharashtra, then what is wrong in it.

Uddhav Thackeray has to take the decision to separate from MVA but Ambadas Danve said that supporting Congress in the assembly elections proved costly. Danve openly said that the overconfidence of victory in the Lok Sabha elections sank the Congress in Haryana, this overconfidence became the reason for the defeat of Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra.

When BJP made Danve’s statement an issue, Sanjay Raut came forward for damage control. Sanjay Raut said that in the meeting, some leaders advised Uddhav Thackeray to fight alone, but this is his personal opinion, the party does not think so, the reason for the defeat in this election is EVM.

It is natural to raise the issue of getting rid of Congress in Uddhav Thackeray’s party. The DNA of Shiv Sena and Congress is different. Bala Saheb Thackeray had raised Shiv Sena as a force fighting for Hindutva, that is why Shiv Sena was a natural ally of BJP. Uddhav Thackeray changed his path in order to become the Chief Minister. It was a loss.

Shinde understood the sentiments of Shiv Sainiks and did not change his line. In the assembly elections, he openly talked about Bala Saheb’s Hindutva. Narendra Modi teased Uddhav in the elections by asking him to make Rahul Gandhi call him Hindu Hriday Samrat Bala Saheb.

Uddhav could not defend the fact that he stands with the Congress which questions the patriotism of Veer Savarkar. That is why Uddhav’s friends are now explaining to him. If we want to survive in politics, we will have to follow the path of Balasaheb Thackeray and the first condition for that is to stay away from Congress. (Rajat Sharma)
