Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim has got 30 days parole before the body in Haryana and the Delhi Assembly elections. On Tuesday (28 January), he left Sunaria Jail in Rohtak at 6 am.

Ram Rahim has come out of jail for the 12th time after being sentenced to sexual abuse and murder case in the year 2017. Earlier, 11 times he stayed at Barnava Ashram in Uttar Pradesh. For the first time after going to jail, he has received permission to stay in Sirsa camp.
On reaching Sirsa, Ram Rahim released the video and said- ‘Please come to your darshan from God and you have come to your service. This time Sirsa Shah has come to Satnam Ji Dham. I pray to you not to come to Sirsa. Stay in their respective place. As you say, you have to implement. May God give you a lot of happiness. Many blessings. ‘
Voting for the assembly elections will be held on 5 February in Delhi. The result will come on 8 February. After this, elections can be held in 8 municipal corporations and 32 councils in Haryana in the first week of February.
Haryana came out even before the assembly elections In September 2024 amid Haryana elections, Ram Rahim sought an emergency parole from the government. Ram Rahim applied to the jail department to give 20 days parole. During this time, he had spoken of staying in Barnava Ashram in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the code of conduct for the assembly elections, the government sent the application of Ram Rahim to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
The Chief Electoral Officer wrote a letter to the state government and also asked questions about parole, although on October 1, the parole of Ram Rahim was approved.
Consolidated in 2 cases, Ram Rahim Ram Rahim, who was acquitted in one, was convicted in the sexual abuse case of 2 sadhvis on 25 August 2017. He was arrested on 27 August this year. In this case, he was sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment on 28 August 2017. After which he is lodged in Sunaria Jail in Rohtak. He was convicted in the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati on 11 January 2019 and was sentenced to life imprisonment on 17 January 2019.
He was also convicted in the Ranjit Singh murder case in 2021, life imprisonment. However, on May 28 this year, the Punjab and Haryana High Court acquitted him in this case. However, after this, the CBI filed a petition in the Supreme Court. On which a notice has also been issued to Ram Rahim.
