Ranji Trophy:Ranji Trophy: Tremendous drama in Ranji Trophy, first Ajinkya Rahane was given out, then called back from the pavilion, fans got angry.

Ajinkya Rahane recalled from the pavilion Controversy: There was tremendous drama seen in the Ranji Trophy match between Mumbai and Jammu Kashmir on Friday. In the match being held at the MCA BKC ground in Mumbai, something happened which the fans would not have even imagined, because Ajinkya Rahane, who was given out by the umpire and had also returned to the pavilion, was called back to bat. For some time no one understood what was happening on the field.

Actually, Ajinkya Rahane was declared caught out on the leg side by Jammu and Kashmir wicketkeeper Kanhaiya Wadhawan. After this, the Mumbai captain had reached the pavilion and the next batsman Shardul Thakur was coming to bat and had reached the ground. But umpires S Ravi and Navdeep Singh Sidhu declared the ball a no-ball.

After this, Shardul Thakur was asked to stay and was sent back for a while, after which Rahane came to bat. This incident happened in the 25th over of Mumbai’s second innings. Rahane was declared out on the very first ball of this over by fast bowler Omar Nazir Mir.

When Shardul Thakur was asked to wait and then he was sent to the pavilion, the fans thought that he had been called time out. The commentators commenting on the match also said the same. But soon Rahane came on the field again to bat, and the situation became somewhat clear.

of Cricbuzz Report Another strange thing that happened during this period was that this so-called no-ball was never shown on the live telecast by GeoCinema, the official broadcaster of the game. When the television production team at the BKC ground was contacted, they said that they did not have access to the footage and that the third umpire did. Third umpire-cum-match referee Nitin Goyal said the confusion and delay was due to lack of communication.

Former Haryana batsman Goyal said, “When I tried to talk to the umpire on the walkie-talkie, the umpire was on some other channel. So it took some time to talk to the on-field umpire. Rahane himself appeared on the screen, which helped “Turns out he didn’t hear the umpire tell him to wait. It was a clear no ball and there was no doubt about it.” He further said, “I will send the relevant footage to BCCI.”

Even though the match referee is confident that the right decision was taken on this occasion, there were some occasions during the match when the fans as well as the players got angry after seeing the standard of umpiring. On one such occasion, Rahane and Iyer were seen arguing with the umpire. However, Rahane could not capitalize on this life-giving opportunity and was out after just two overs.

Jammu and Kashmir captain Paras Dogra took a brilliant catch of Umar Nazir in the covers. This time too the umpires stopped the match to check the no-ball and ultimately declared Rahane out. Mumbai got the sixth blow in the form of Rahane. Rahane could score only 16 runs in the second innings.

If we talk about the match, Mumbai, which was all out for 120 in the first innings, bundled out Jammu and Kashmir for 206 runs in the first innings. For Jammu and Kashmir, Shubham Khajuria scored 53 runs and Abid Mushtaq scored 44 runs. In the second innings, Mumbai lost its 7th wicket at the score of 101. Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal flopped once again. Rohit was able to score 28 runs while Jaiswal scored 26 runs, while Iyer scored 17 runs and Hardik scored 1 run. Shivam Dubey could not even open an account.
