Seeing the slow investigation, the file was summoned by DCP West Amit Budania in December 2024. On 1 January 2025, the file was transferred from Jhotwara police station to the Deputy Commissioner of Police. The Deputy Commissioner of Police in the West of the Women’s Research Cell was handed over the investigation to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Sulesh Chaudhary. Investigation was started from 2 January. On January 4, the victim was called for statements for the first time.
Statements of the victim teenager as well as other witnesses and treatment doctors were recorded. Then the police themselves were also shocked to see the mental condition of the victim. When the case was old and complicated, the police conducted ‘rape trauma syndrome’ under Rule 4 of the Poxo Act. Gurugram shifted after the victim’s cruelty, married
The accused lived in the houses around the victim in Jhotwara police station area from 2016 to 2019. After hunting, he shifted to Gurugram along with the family in 2020. There he was working in a private hospital. In the year 2023, the accused youth got married.
After the investigation of the case, Shakti Singh Rathore, a resident of Kekri, Ajmer, was originally called for investigation. On appearing before the police, he described himself as evident. After arresting on 17 February, strict interrogation was taken on 7 days remand. The accused confessed all his crime. After remand on 25 February, the young man was produced by the police in the court, he was sent to jail.
