NDA ally and HAM party chief Jitan Ram Manjhi is very angry at this time. His resentment has increased to such an extent that he has even talked about leaving the post of minister. In fact, his resentment has increased after the party did not get seats in the Delhi and Jharkhand assembly elections.
However, after this, while talking to the media at Patna airport, Manjhi clarified his point and said that he has no resentment towards NDA. While talking to the media, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that such a big post given to me by PM Narendra Modi is not a trivial thing. I am completely in favor of NDA in Delhi elections.

Jitan Ram Manjhi says that when the party has so much influence among the people and the number of people listening to their voice is large, then why did they not get representation in the elections? They also feel that their contribution and existence of the party have not been given due recognition, which has become the main reason for their resentment.
‘I will have to resign from the Union Cabinet’
Ham Party chief Jitan Ram Manjhi said that till now we have not got a seat in Jharkhand, we have not got a seat in Delhi also. Is this justice? Do I not exist? When the crowd is with us, the public is with us, then why did I not get a seat? I should get a seat on the basis of my existence. We are asking for this seat not for your benefit, but for our rights. “It seems I will have to resign from the Union Cabinet.”
He said from the stage that when people are with us, I have votes, then why did we not get a seat. I have to ask this question. Our stand is clear, give us seats according to our existence. We are asking for seats not for ourselves but for the benefit of Dalits. If my point does not progress then it seems that I will have to leave the Modi cabinet.
We are not being given importance in NDA: Manjhi
Actually, in Munger, Jitan Ram Manjhi had said that we are not being given importance in NDA. Earlier in Jharkhand, now even in the Delhi Assembly elections, our party has not been given a single seat. It seems that now we will have to show our existence.
Along with this, Manjhi also reacted to the statements of Chirag Paswan and Prashant Kishore regarding the BPSC exam. He said that I do not know the political viewpoint of Chirag Paswan, but in the case of BPSC candidates, the Bihar government has treated the students in a very generous manner. Out of 912 centres, the examination was conducted properly in 911 centres. Due to irregularities at one centre, the examination was conducted again. If some students are fasting then they are doing politics. The decision of Bihar government and commission is absolutely right.
As an ally of NDA, Jitan Ram has reached Parliament after winning the election from Manjhi Gaya Lok Sabha seat. Manjhi was also the Chief Minister of Bihar from 20 May 2014 to 20 February 2015. Manjhi comes from Dalit community. He was elected MLA for the first time in the year 1980. Manjhi has also been a minister in different governments of Bihar.
