Rohingya children get admission in government school… Go to the High Court for refusing: Petition in support of children of Supreme Court, infiltrators

What did the Supreme Court say?

Supreme Court ahead Said“In case of admission and in the event of not being given it, these children can knock on the Delhi High Court.” The Supreme Court said that in such a situation, the legal institute will help these children who have filed a petition for them.

What was the matter?

This petition was filed in the Supreme Court by an organization named Social Jurist a Civil Rights Group. This organization had claimed that due to lack of Aadhaar card in Delhi, these Rohingya are not giving admission to children. He demanded an order to be given admission.

Earlier this organization had reached Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court while hearing the case had said that Rohingya is not a refugee nor has the government given this status. The Delhi High Court had asked the petitioners in this case to take their demand to the Ministry of Home Affairs so that action could be taken on it.

The High Court had said that the matter is related to the question of security and citizenship of the country. The High Court dismissed this petition with this. After this the organization reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court, while hearing the case on January 29, 2025, from this organization to those children Information Was sought, who have been denied admission.

The organization submitted a list of 18 such children, on which it gave this decision on 17 February and disposed of the petition. This is not the only petition demanding Rohingya intruders like citizens.

Petitions falling in support of Rohingya

Recently, an NGO had said in a petition filed in the Supreme Court that the court should direct the Center and the Delhi government to reach schools and hospitals illegally in Delhi. In the petition, for these Rohingya Muslims, free health services as well as food grains were demanded for these Rohingya Muslims.

The petition filed by the NGO demanded instructions to the Central and Delhi governments to impart free education to Rohingya children despite not having Aadhaar card or Indian citizenship. In the PIL, it was further demanded that these Rohingya ‘refugees’ be allowed to participate in all examinations including class 10, 12 and graduates without asking for identity cards.
