RRB ALP, JE Exam Dates: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the dates of the second computer based test (CBT 2) for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment Examination, 2024. Along with this, the reconstruction of CBT 2 examination has also been announced for various posts including JE, DMS and CMA.
The main dates and information of ALP CBT 2 Exam:
- ALP CBT 2 exam dates: The examination will be held on 19 and 20 March. The revised date of CBT 2 exam for JE and other posts will be announced later.
- Examination city and date information: The link to download the examination city, date and travel authority (for SC/ST candidates) will be released on RRB websites 10 days before the exam date.
- Admit card: The e-call letter or admit card will be released four days before the exam date, which will be mentioned in the examination city and date information link.
- Base certification: Before entering the examination centers, the biometric certification of candidates will be done using the Aadhaar card. Candidates will have to bring their original Aadhaar card or a printed copy of their e-satisfied Aadhaar. - ALP Recruitment: The purpose of ALP recruitment exam is to fill 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilot Vacancies. The initial announcement was for 5,696 vacancies, but later the vacancies were extended due to additional demand of the Regional Railways.
- JE Recruitment: The JE recruitment exam is for a total of 7,951 vacancies. It consists of 17 posts for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metalgical Supervisor/Research and 7,934 posts for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical and Metroid Assistant.
