How did the concept of brother -in -law story come to your mind?
Dignity – These are the things that live in the mind because we read the newspaper. We are a little aware of our surroundings, what is going on. I am from Rajasthan, but I have been in Delhi for many years and Siddharth is from Telangana. In the surrounding environment, we have heard many reports that the parents killed them because they fell in love with someone. There is headlines in the newspaper. Sometimes it decreases, sometimes it gets more. This topic was such that we used to give us a lot of anger.
In your film, Aashiq is doing a fight back from family and society, how did this idea come?
Siddharth: If there is an error in the society, then it brings you an anger inside you. We thought so much is happening around us. What can be its solution. You cannot improve any panchayat. They also do not follow the rules of the Supreme Court. We have tried to find a solution in this film. It may take many years to bring change, but we can say that it is beginning. Lovers need to understand that taking violence quietly is also a kind of violence. I would like to tell that during the research of the film we went to Safe House. Where the couples run away from the house are kept safe by the government. After meeting him, we understood that he has no planning. Today he will stay under the security of the government for 15 days, but after leaving he does not have any concrete plan. We thought that if there was a couple who go back to the fight back, then the things can change.
What kind of challenges did you struggle during the making of the film?
Siddharth – Challenging starts with casting. At first, you do not get yes of the studio on such bold subjects. Even if the studio is found, then there is a challenge of casting. I would like to say that the shooting of the film was very difficult. We have shot this film in Jabalpur at 50 degree temperature. It was also a rocky location. Most of the shooting of the film took place at the outdoor location as it is the story of a runaway couples. The film was shot in 44 days and the entire shooting is done in Jabalpur. If the shooting was completed, then there was a challenge to release. When he went to Oatti, he said that this is a very bold subject. We will not be able to take it. Nowadays there has been so many censorship that the OTT is also afraid. Cenema is changing but for the big filmmaker, there has been no change for the budding people. It has been said that there have been many accidents with OTT recently. . The kind of honor killing is the issue. Is connected to gotra. Many people can be touching for many people, so we will not support your film. How Set Max came and the film is released on the satellite. We only know At least this film reached the audience, we are very happy with this.
Look at the casting, were the original choices of the film someone else?
Garima – You must feel that we have done films with Deepika, Ranveer and Ranbir, then we will have good bonding, so it is not so. The big stars are big. He does not live in touch with anyone other than his close circle. We have written a film for him. Write the songs, but this does not mean that he will easily answer our message. Garima – We were associated with Ramlila’s writing. In it, Supriya Path Pathak played the role of Dhankor, who also used to do popular comedy show Khichdi at that time. Siddharth – Our industry is quite different from Hollywood. If the screen writer goes to become a director there, then he gets a lot of respect for him. He is seen with great respect.
