After this, the second part of the franchise ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ came in the year 2017. People also liked this film very much. Katrina Kaif’s snow painting
Salman has been shown painting in both the parts of Tiger. In the first part, Salman is seen painting and selling paintings in the song Lapata and in the second, his character makes paintings of Zoya in the song Dil Diya Gallan. You will be surprised to know that the paintings shown in both the films were made by Salman himself. Salman is a very good artist and painting is his hobby. It was Salman who made Katrina’s snow painting in the song Dil Diyan Gallan of Tiger Zinda Hai. While the crew was setting the camera and doing other work, Salman had taken down Katrina’s picture on the snow, shots of which we also get to see. Similarly, in the missing song of Ek Tha Tiger, the paintings which Salman’s character puts up for sale were also made by him himself.
Not Salman, Hrithik was the first choice
Along with the film ‘Tiger’, Salman Khan made this character an icon as well. But do you know that the makers first wanted to cast Hrithik Roshan in this film. He had even sent the script to Shahrukh Khan, but he was busy shooting for his other films, and after this the makers took the script of the film to Salman. Salman liked the script very much and agreed to do the film. Salman also took a lot of training for the film. There was a lot of serious action in the film and his character was also that of a RAW agent, so both Salman and Katrina had toiled for hours for the film.
An accident happened with Katrina
Katrina Kaif’s body double was used for many scenes in the film. Although Katrina had also taken tremendous training for action sequences and had done many stunts, still some of her scenes were done by body doubles. The action scene of the film was being shot in Morocco, Katrina had a narrow escape during the shooting of that scene. The incident took place at a time when the shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai was going on in full swing in Medina Off Phase, Morocco. Everything was going according to plan. During the shooting, Salman had to complete the scene sitting on a horse, while Katrina had to complete her scene sitting in a car. However, despite good training, Katrina’s car met with an accident during the shooting and crashed into a wall. She had a narrow escape in this accident.
RAW Chief’s oxygen pipe
Girish Karnad played the role of RAW Chief Ajit Shenoy in the film. Shenoy sir was in the news for his strong acting. His bonding with the character of Tiger touched people’s hearts. He wore an oxygen pipe in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Do you know that he actually wore that pipe because he was ill? Girish is no more in this world. He died in the year 2019 at the age of 81.
The film is based on a real incident
This film is based on a real life incident. In 2014, ISIL had kidnapped Indian nurses. 46 Indian nurses were taken hostage in Iraq. The same story has been shown in the film also. In the film, villain Abu Usman spoke dialogues in English for half the film. This character was played by Sajjad Delafrooz. The makers released the original movie with English dialogues in the international market, while his voice was dubbed in Hindi for India. Sajjad also worked in the movie ‘Baby’ in the year 2015.
