Sarkari Naukri: Bihar Social Welfare Department issued notification, direct recruitment of Sub -Divisional Protection Officer in the state

Sarkari naukri: To prevent all kinds of violence on women in Bihar, appointment will be made to the post of Sub -Divisional Protection Officer, District Conservation Officer, Conservation Officer, State Protection Officer under Bihar Protection Service Recruitment and Services Bet Rules 2025. Notification has been issued by the Social Welfare Department in this regard. According to the notification, there will be direct recruitment of 101 sub -divisional protection officers. At the same time, the appointment of District Conservation Officer, Protection Officer and State Protection Officer will be through promotion. This will be the state service and will work under the administrative control of the Social Welfare Department.

Appointment

The posts of the original category of this service will be filled by direct appointment on the basis of the recommendation of the Commission and the posts of promotion will be filled on the basis of preference cum qualification. Women candidates will be appointed on all posts of service cadre.

Qualification and procedure for appointment

The minimum age of candidates for direct recruitment will not be less than 21 years on August 1 of the year. Along with this, the maximum age limit will be there, which will be fixed from time to time by the General Administration Department of the State Government.

Adolescence

The eligibility of the candidates will be required to be a bachelor’s degree in a subject in psychology or method. For direct appointment in service, special examination or joint competition examination can be conducted by the Commission. In addition to compulsory subjects, it will be mandatory to take at least one in the prescribed subject psychology and method in addition to the vacancy subjects set by Bihar Public Service Commission.

Vacancies will be calculated every year

By the first April of every year, the department will calculate the vacancies to be filled by direct appointment in Bihar Protection Service that year and according to it, the information of the vacancies to be filled by direct appointment will be sent to the Commission by 30 April.
