Government Jobs: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for the Common Recruitment Examination 2025. This registration process is currently ongoing. Candidates can apply till January 31, 2025 for recruitment to Group-B and Group-C category posts in various AIIMS and Central Government hospitals operated under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. How many posts will be recruited?
Under this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 4597 posts. Appointment to these posts will be done in various All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Central Government hospitals under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

What is the age limit?
According to the post, the age limit of the applicants is generally fixed between 18 to 35 years. As per government rules, age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories, which includes 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PWBD (PWD) candidates.
How much will be the application fee?
While applying for the Common Recruitment Examination, General and OBC category candidates will have to deposit Rs 3000 as application fee. Whereas for SC/ST/EWS category candidates this fee is fixed at Rs 2400. Fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking. PWD category candidates can apply for this examination for free.
How will the selection happen?
AIIMS CRE selection process consists of written examination and skill test. In the written examination, candidates will have to solve a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from two different parts, each question carrying 4 marks. Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for the next stage, i.e. skill test.
How to apply?
- First of all go to the official website aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Click on the Recruitment button given on the home page of the website and go to the ‘Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)’ notification.
- Click on Create New Account and complete the registration process by filling all the requested information.
- After registration, log in, fill the required details and complete the application process.
- Finally, deposit the prescribed fee and take a printout of the completely filled application form and keep it safe.
