Saurabh Sharma: Saurabh came to court and escaped by dodging, police kept rubbing hands

State Bureau, Naiduniya: Bhopal. With the surrender of former transport constable Saurabh Sharma in the court of Bhopal on Monday, the special police establishment of the state has been raised on the working style of Lokayukta.

It is shocking that the Saurabh who had been dodging the police for 40 days suddenly reached the court and went out safely. But the investigating agencies did not even know about it. With this, it has been proved that Saurabh was in India on 25 December or before.

Court reached court afternoon

He reached the court of Special Judge Ram Prasad Mishra in Bhopal District Court with his lawyer Rajesh Parashar at around 12 noon. There disappeared after applying the application of surrender there. To hear his application, the court has summoned a case diary from the investigating agencies including the Lokayukta on Tuesday morning.

Along with this, Saurabh’s lawyer has also been instructed to appear for hearing. At the same time, as soon as Saurabh reached the court, other agencies including Lokayukta also became active. Please tell that on December 26, Saurabh Sharma also submitted an anticipatory bail application.

Investigation agencies kept rubbing hands

The reason, on the demand of the Income Tax Department, the Bureau of immigration (BOI) issued a look out circular (LoC) on 25 December. In such a situation, if Saurabh would come from abroad, he would have been caught in the airport. It has been 33 days since the LoC released. Saurabh was discussed in the political and administrative corridor from the day of the raid.

The Lokayukta Police, Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate (ED) have found undeclared assets and documents worth Rs 93 crore to Saurabh and nearby, about which the investigating agencies had to interrogate him, but remained tied to the police.

Where was the Lokayukta police

The big question is whether the Lokayukta police did not know about Saurabh? Had Saurabh been questioned before, the picture would have been something else.

The reason, in 40 days, got an opportunity to organize their documents and property, who had Bhagat found in Saurabh’s black business.

Please tell that on the day of the raid, Saurabh’s mother Uma Sharma had told the Lokayukta police team that he has gone to Dubai with the family. The next day of the raid, a car parked in Mendori village in Bhopal got 54 kg of gold and Rs 11 crore cash, which was seized by the Income Tax Department on the information of the informer.

The Income Tax Department had issued an LOC against Saurabh for questioning in this case. The Income Tax Department has to interrogate Saurabh in the case of diary and benami properties found in the car.

The ED raided Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Pune on two different days and seized cash and property documents from close to Saurabh. In this case, the ED will also arrest Saurabh and inquire.
