State Bureau, Naiduniya: Bhopal: In the seven -day interrogation of former constable Saurabh Sharma, former constable of Madhya Pradesh Transport Department, the Lokayukta police has not got much success in removing information. The police is now preparing to spew the secret from Saurabh in other ways.
Police is also considering conducting narco test. The opinion of law experts will be taken for this. Narco tests can be done with the permission of the court. Actually, the names of many big leaders and officials are also coming in this case, due to which Saurabh and his colleague Chetan Singh Gaur are not opening their mouths.
The biggest question is that the police have not been able to find out who has 54 kg of gold and Rs 10 crore cash found in the car? Where did the gold come from? Who paid for the purchase and through what medium?
Detention till 17 February
On the other hand, on the completion of the police remand period of the three accused, the Lokayukta police on Tuesday presented him in the special court of Prevention of Corruption Act, Ram Pratap Mishra. From here, the three have been sent to jail in judicial custody till 17 February.
Two more companions arrested with Saurabh
The Lokayukta police raided the residence of Saurabh and Chetan Singh Gaur on 18 December. 40 days later, while coming to the court for surrender, Saurabh was arrested by the police on 28 January. On the same day, Saurabh’s close Chetan Singh Gaur and Sharad Jaiswal were also arrested by the police.
Police could not spew generation
The three were questioned for a week after taking police custody, but the police could not spew special information about Saurabh’s properties. On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also applied to the court for questioning the accused after a court order to send the three accused including Saurabh to jail.
Court allowed inquiry
The court has allowed the ED to interrogate the accused in the jail. Explain that the ED had set up a case on the basis of FIR registered against the three accused including Saurabh in the case of disproportionate assets in the Lokayukta police.
After this, the ED raided Saurabh’s relatives and close to Saurabh in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Pune and seized the property documents on two different days. Saurabh’s mother Uma Sharma, wife Divya Tiwari and Chetan Singh Gaur have already questioned the investigating agency.
Income tax department will take statement on completion of ED’s inquiry
On the next day of the raid, the Income Tax Department has to interrogate Saurabh regarding getting 54 kg of gold, Rs 10 crore cash in a car parked in Mendori village and documents of crores of rupees in the car.
Income tax department officials also reached the court on Tuesday, but the ED got permission for questioning, so the Income Tax Department did not apply. After the completion of the ED’s inquiry, the Income Tax Department will interrogate Saurabh and Chetan.
For this, permission will be sought by applying in the court. The Income Tax Department is preparing for interrogation for two days. During interrogation, it will be clear whose gold and cash found in the car.
In this case it is very important to conduct Saurabh’s narco test. Narca test of other two accused on the need also blows upS should do it. Many leaders and officials are also being named in this case, so the accused are not opening their mouths. In such a situation, the narciss is tested and necessary. What is the objection to the police in conducting this investigation. This is a big case, whose truth is necessary to bring out.
