How long will schools remain closed in Delhi-NCR?
Keeping in mind the safety of students and the increasing impact of cold, the Delhi government has declared winter vacation in all government schools from January 1 to January 15, 2025. This decision has been taken giving priority to the health of children, so that they can avoid the harsh cold and stay away from any health related problems. The government has directed that only essential administrative work will be done in school campuses during the holidays. All teachers and school employees have been instructed to remain alert regarding the education and safety of children in their respective work areas during this period. Classes will resume in schools from January 16, 2025, and normal teaching operations will continue smoothly for students. Parents have been requested to pay special attention to the care of children during this period and encourage them to study at home along with making them wear warm clothes.
How long will the holidays last in Lucknow schools?
In Lucknow, as per the orders of DM, online classes have been made mandatory for students of classes 9 to 12. At the same time, as per the instructions of Shailendra Kumar Singh, schools from classes 1 to 8 in Agra and Mathura will remain closed till January 14, 2025.
For how many days will schools remain closed in Bihar?
Due to the severe cold wave, all classes up to class 8 have been suspended till January 12 in Araria district of Bihar. Whereas for students of classes 9 to 12, classes will be conducted from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Along with this, the Bihar government in Patna has declared winter vacation in all government and private schools till January 11, 2025. Keeping in mind the outbreak of cold, this decision has been taken while giving priority to the safety and health of the students.
