School Holidays 2025: The month of March 2025 is going to be full of festivals and long holidays for students across India, so it is a month of fun and joy for all students. • Ugadi, Gudi Padwa and Chaitra Sukhaladi – March 30, 2025: These special and different festivals are celebrated in the culture and society of India and symbolize the beginning of Hindu New Year in different regions. While Ugadi is celebrated in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Gudi Padwa is celebrated in Maharashtra. Chaitra Sukhaladi is celebrated in North India. Schools are closed on this day too.
• Eid-ul-Fitr-March 31, 2025: This important Islamic festival is a symbol of the end of Ramadan and it is celebrated with great pomp across the country. This is a gazetted holiday, in which schools and government offices are closed.
