The first day of IPL mega auction took place on Sunday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 10 teams bought 72 players for Rs 467.95 crore. Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer were the 2 most expensive players. Pant was bought by Lucknow for Rs 27 crore and Shreyas was bought by Punjab for Rs 26.75 crore. The 5 most expensive players of the auction were Indians. The second day’s auction will start at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
