On October 26, 2024, an IPS officer in Haryana was accused of sexual exploitation by female policemen. Women policemen had written a letter to Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini regarding this. This letter had gone viral on social media.

There were also signatures of 7 women policemen on it. It was alleged in the letter that the IPS officer pressurized a female police officer to have physical relations and even threatened to spoil the Annual Confidential Report (ACR) if he did not do so.

The women policemen also told the woman DSP about the incident, but she said that if we want to move ahead, all this will have to be done. In a letter written to the CM, the women policemen have said that if their complaint is not heeded, they will be forced to commit suicide.

IPS officer had said- I myself wrote the letter for investigation When the IPS officer was talked to about the allegations against him, he said that all those whose names are in the letter are saying that it has not been written on our behalf. For this I have still requested for inquiry.

All things will come to light after the inquiry. The DGP has been informed about the matter. The women policemen who are talking about the ACR being damaged, are themselves denying these letters. Nothing can be said until this letter is verified.
