Sharad Pawar has advised Home Minister Amit Shah to maintain the dignity of his post. In fact, on January 12, Amit Shah had said in the BJP conference in Shirdi that BJP’s victory in Maharashtra has buried the politics of betrayal started by Pawar in 1978 by 20 feet in the ground.
Pawar said in Mumbai on Tuesday – This country has seen many excellent Home Ministers, but none of them was thrown out of his state. He was referring to Shah being thrown out of Gujarat for two years in 2010 in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. Shah was acquitted of all charges in 2014.
Sharad Pawar said that I was the CM in 1978. At that time there was not so much bitterness between the party and the opposition in politics. At that time people like Uttam Rao Patil of Jan Sangh were also in my ministry. After this, when Vajpayee became PM, he made me the chairman of the Disaster Management Authority. Despite me being in opposition, he gave me the responsibility.
Amit Shah had given this statement on January 12.
Pawar said- INDIA alliance is for Lok Sabha elections On the discussion of split in the INDIA alliance, Pawar said- There was never any talk about state and local elections in the INDIA alliance. This alliance is only for the national level i.e. Lok Sabha elections.
In fact, Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah had said that the INDIA alliance has no importance after the Lok Sabha elections. This should be ended. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut supported Abdullah’s statement and held Congress responsible for this. He had said that we will contest the Maharashtra civic elections alone.
On praising RSS, he said – No support for ideology Pawar recently clarified on praising RSS. He said- He does not support the ideology of the Sangh, but he supports the way its people work hard.
In fact, Pawar had told NCP(SP) workers on January 9 that due to the hard work of the Sangh, BJP and Mahayuti had got a landslide victory in Maharashtra. The Sangh people worked hard and we should learn from them.
Will soon decide alliance in civic elections Sharad Pawar said that a decision will be taken in 8-10 days whether his party will fight with anyone or separately in the local body elections in Maharashtra. There will be a meeting within the party regarding this.
