Smriti Mandhana shines in ICC rankings, reached second place in ODI and third place in T20, know the condition of other Indian players

Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, thanks to good performances against Australia and West Indies, has moved up three places to second in the International Cricket Council’s latest women’s ODI batting rankings released on Tuesday, while moving up one place to third in the T20 International batting rankings. Left-handed batsman Mandhana scored 105 runs in the last match of the ODI series against Australia in Perth while she scored 54 runs in the first T20 International match against West Indies in Mumbai on Sunday.

Mandhana is the only Indian in the top 10 in the ODI batting rankings. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur is at 13th position with a loss of two places while Harleen Deol is at 64th position with a gain of nine places. In the bowling rankings, Deepti Sharma is at fifth position with a loss of two places.

Indian fast bowler Arundhati Reddy has jumped 48 places to 51st position while Renuka Thakur has moved up from 28th to joint 26th position. England’s opening batsman Tammy Beaumont is at 11th position with a gain of two places. He played an important role in winning the series 2-1 against South Africa by playing an unbeaten inning of 65 runs.

Ashleigh Gardner, who scored 50 in Perth, has moved up from 16th to 15th position while Tahlia McGrath has gained eight places to 24th. Annabel Sutherland has gained 15 places to reach 29th position. He played a match-winning inning of 110 runs against India. Gardner is also at third place in the bowling rankings with an increase of two places, which is also the previous best ranking of his career. She has also moved from fourth to second position in the list of all-rounders.

South Africa’s Marijne Kapp is fourth, up two places, while England’s Charlie Dean (up two places to seventh), Nate Sciver Brunt (up one place to 16th) and Lauren Bell (up four places) The trio of (ranked 21st) has also benefited from the advantage. On the other hand, Harmanpreet has returned to the top 10 in the T20 International batting rankings. Jemima is at 15th position with a gain of six places after playing an innings of 73 runs against West Indies.

West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin is at 59th position with a gain of 21 places after scoring a half-century against India. Kianna Joseph (up 22 places to 65th) in batting rankings and Karishma Ramharak (up six places to 20th) in bowling rankings have also gained.
