Good morning to all attendees. Today all of us have gathered here on a very important occasion- Martyr’s Day… reminds us of the martyrdom of our great freedom fighters. On this day, we pay tribute to those brave sons, who sacrificed their lives to give India freedom.

The three were hanged by British rule on 23 March 1931. This day of 23 March will be immortal in Indian history forever because on this day, these martyrs had taken India a step on the path of freedom by sacrificing their lives.

Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were not only the great revolutionary of their time, but still remain an inspiration for the youth of India. We can never forget the adventure and patriotism of these three.

Do you know that Bhagat Singh started thinking about India’s independence at just 8 years old? And at the age of 15, he left his house because his heart was beating for India.

Sukhdev also raised his voice against the independence of Mother India with the independence of the Indian prisoners jailed in 1929 and inhuman behavior.

Since childhood, Rajguru was urged to join Jung-e-Azadi. Rajguru was in contact with many revolutionaries while studying in Varanasi. Chandrashekhar was so impressed with Azad that his party immediately joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army, at that time he was only 16 years old.
