Sri Hari Vishnu Temple of Sambhal is older than Islam … claim of CM Yogi amid mosque dispute

Sambhal:

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Sambhal’s Shri Hari Vishnu Temple is older than Islam. People should raise any question. Amid the mosque dispute of Sambhal, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Sambhal is mentioned in the 5,000 years old scriptures and it is before Islam. He said that every religion and worship system in the world has some good qualities, but forcibly seizing someone’s faith and crushing their beliefs is unacceptable-‘Khaskar when we know the truth about Sambhal’.

Temple at least 2,000 years than Islam …

Adityanath also said that the Shri Hari Vishnu temple in Sambhal was destroyed in 1526. He said, ‘Sambhal is mentioned in 5,000 years old texts. They mention the future avatar of Lord Vishnu. On the other hand, Islam emerged only 1,400 years ago. I am talking about something that is at least 2,000 years old than Islam. Evidence of these things has been present for centuries. Remember, the temple of Lord Vishnu was broken in Sambhal in 1526. Two years later, the Ram temple in Ayodhya was also broken in 1528. During the program related to the ‘Manthan: Kumbh and Ahead’ organized by the weekly magazine ‘Organizer’ related to the RSS, he said that both acts were done by the same person. After the court order in Sambhal last November, there is tension due to the survey of a mosque. Some people claim that this mosque is built on a demolished temple.

‘I am a yogi. I respect every sect, community ‘

The Chief Minister said that Sambhal represents a ‘historical truth’. He said, ‘I am a yogi. I respect every sect, community and worship system. If you go back to Gorakhnath, then you will see that there is no discrimination against anyone there. People of all castes, regions and sects sit and eat together. Our revered saints, whether they are connected with any religion, sit together and eat and they get the same respect. The Chief Minister said, ‘Therefore I say that the spirit of the Vedic tradition of India, as expressed in the Upanishads, is deeply contained in us. Every method of worship, whether it is associated with Sanatan Dharma or any other religion in the world, has some underlying goodness, which is why so many people follow them.

CM Yogi also lashed out at opposition parties

Pointing to opposition parties and critics, the Chief Minister said that first read the scriptures, then challenge them (Yogi) to debate them. He said that it is unacceptable to forcibly seize someone’s faith and crush their beliefs -‘Each we know the truth about Sambhal. Sambhal has always been a pilgrimage site. It had 68 holy places, and till now we are able to recover 18 of them. 19 were ancient wells, which we have revived. After 56 years, for the first time, the ritual of offering water was seen in the temple of Lord Shiva in Sambhal. What were these so -called leaders doing for so long? ‘

‘The path of world welfare will pass through India’

The Chief Minister also said that India will lead the world in the 21st century and the path of world welfare will come through ‘India’. Adityanath said that in Ayodhya, after 500 years, Lord Rama was finally enshrined at his birthplace in January 2024. He said that India has moved forward in a new direction and is moving towards becoming a developed nation, it will pave the way for global welfare.

‘Discovery of your ancestors questioning India’s development’

CM Yogi said that it would be better for those who question India’s development to search for their ancestors. The latest example of this is that of the President of Indonesia. Indonesia, a country with the most Muslim population in the world, considers Ramlila as its national festival. It has a picture of Lord Ganesha in its posture and its national airline is named after Garuda. This should be a lesson for many people. The Chief Minister said that the President of Indonesia himself said that if his DNA test is done then it will come out Indian. He further said, ‘Those who grow on India’s resources should get their DNA test done before making a statement and stop glorifying foreign invaders. Otherwise, when the historical truth like Sambhal will be revealed, they will not have any place to hide.

When asked about the learning from Mahakumbh and the construction of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi, Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government has allocated funds for Mathura-Vrindavan in the recently announced 2025-26 budget.
