SSC CGL Exam 2024: Good news for candidates appearing in SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the window for the posts and departments for the Joint Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 examination, and has also announced the final vacancies. Candidates appearing in Tier 2 exam can choose their favorite post and department on the official website of SSC.
SSC CGL Exam 2024: Last date for filling preference form
According to the Staff Selection Commission, the candidates can fill their preference form by visiting their login portal till 5 pm on 27 February 2025. After filling the form, the candidates have to click on the “Submit” button. Keep in mind that once the form is filled, it is not possible to change it by the candidate, so choose your post carefully.
Total vacancies in Staff Selection Commission
Let us tell you that the total number of vacancies in the Staff Selection Commission is 18,174 and they are according to various categories and they are as follows:
- General (UR): 7,567
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 2,762
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 1,606
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 4,521
- Economically weaker section (EWS): 1,718

How to fill SSC CGL option-cum-present form?
First of all, candidates should visit the official website ssc.gov.in.
In the second phase, click on the “Candidate Login” tab and log in.
Go to the “My Application” section in the third phase.
In the fourth phase, the candidates should choose their favorite post and department as per their choice.
Watch carefully before submitting the form in the final stage and click on the “Submit” button.
