SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has increased the vacancy of MTS in MTS and Havildar Recruitment 2024. The Commission has announced the last vacancies to be filled through multi-tasking staff (non-technical) and Havildar (CBI and CBN) examination 2024 on the official website ssc.gov.in.
According to the latest notification of the Commission, now 11,518 posts will be recruited instead of 9,583. That is, 1935 posts have increased. Earlier 6,144 posts of MTS were to be admitted. Now this vacancy has increased to 9,079. Multi-tasking staff (MTS) will be recruited in various ministries and departments of the Central Government.
Havildars will be recruited by the Central Indirect Tax Board and the Central Narcotics Bureau. This year, a record 57,44,713 applications were received for MTS Havildar recruitment.
PET/PST will not fail eligible
According to official information, the candidates who fail in PET/PST will not be eligible for the post of Havildar. However, if they apply for MTS status, then their application will be eligible. The final results for MTS and Havildar will be released after the PET/PST round. Minimum for sessions 1 and 2 of CBT
Results were announced on 21 January
The exam has been held from 30 September to 14 November 2024. The results of SSC MTS Havildar Recruitment Exam were declared on 21 January. After this, the selected candidates were called for physical test in February.
So many candidates for PET and PST
A total of 27,011 candidates have been shortlisted to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Testing (PST) for the post of Havildar. The final result is yet to come.
