BPSC Student Suicide: 25-year-old Sonu Kumar, who was preparing for BPSC exam, committed suicide in Hanuman Nagar of Patna’s Patrakar Nagar police station area in Bihar. Sonu was a resident of Anyakchak, Paliganj and was preparing for competitive examinations by staying in Hanuman Nagar. Police received information about the incident on Tuesday night, after which the team reached the spot and took the body into custody. The FSL team also reached the spot and collected evidence. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Was preparing for BPSC for many years
In this case, according to Sonu’s family and people around him, he was under exam pressure for a long time. Police also believe that prima facie the reason for suicide could be the stress of competitive examinations. However, a thorough investigation of the case is going on and other possible reasons are also being investigated. Sonu Kumar was preparing for BPSC by living in Patna for many years. Police searched Sonu’s room, but no suicide note has been recovered so far.
