Today we will tell you one such story of Priya Rani, a resident of Kudkuri, a small village in Phulwari Sharif, Bihar, who passed the UPSC exam and became an IAS officer despite being prevented from studying and facing the restrictions of the society.
Villagers stopped him from studying but grandfather supported him
Priya comes from Kudkuri, a small village in Bihar. He studied in the village since childhood and during this time he had to face a lot of opposition from his villagers. The villagers were not happy with the fact that Priya’s family was teaching their daughter so much, but Priya’s grandfather did not listen to the villagers and fought with everyone for his granddaughter’s education. He knew that Priya would have to face a lot of troubles while living in the village, so they took her to Patna for her studies. Besides, Priya’s father also always supported his daughter seeing her hard work and dedication. Priya completed her studies by living in a rented house in Patna.
Engineering from BIT Mesra
Priya did engineering from BIT Mesra, after which she got a job with a good package but she was passionate about joining civil services. Priya started preparing for UPSC as soon as she finished engineering. Priya got a job in the Indian Defense Service in her second attempt but her dream was to become an IAS, after this she gave her third attempt but she failed in it but even then she did not stop. After this she achieved All India Rank 69 in her fourth attempt and eventually became an IAS officer.
wake up every morning at 4 am to study
While talking to the media, Priya explained her strategy and way of studying. He told that there is no other option for success other than regular studies and hard work. She used to wake up every morning at 4 o’clock to study. Priya believes that education is the biggest asset in life.
The villagers who used to protest, today applaud
Priya’s villagers, who once stopped her from studying and opposed her family, today all praise her. After the amazing feat done by Priya, her villagers and the surrounding villages have also come together to educate their daughters. Priya’s success has brought a change in the entire society and not only her family or village but the entire Bihar is proud of her success.
