Even after becoming deputy collector, the goal of waiting was big. He was riding the ghost of becoming IAS above. Along with the responsibilities of SDM, he continued his UPSC preparations. In 2022, his efforts showed color and passed the UPSC exam with the 52nd rank.

On 15 April 2024, his first appointment was made as a probationary officer and SDM in Buxar district of Bihar. However, he later demanded transfer to Uttar Pradesh cadre, which was accepted. A big reason behind this was that her husband is IPS in Uttar Pradesh cadre.
