Naiduniya, Gwalior. The Gwalior bench of the High Court has granted bail to Sunny Deol, accused in the case of raping a minor, after four months. Advocate Mohit Bhadauria, who appeared on behalf of the accused youth, said that the youth is just 18 years old and the girl with whom he is accused of raping has been in a relationship with him for two years. He has also recorded this in his statements.
The minor has also said in her statements that the present accused youth did not force her. She had gone with him of her own free will. The petitioner’s advocate also presented these facts before the court, on the basis of which the court granted bail to the young man.

- This incident occurred on July 29, 2024, when the minor had left her home without informing her to attend a program. After this, the minor’s father lodged a report at Karhariya police station.
- On 20 September 2024, the police found the minor in Gwalior. After her statement before the court, her medical examination was done and it was found that she was pregnant.
- The girl was a minor, hence the accused was arrested and sent to jail. The accused’s advocate told that the minor and the accused were in love for two years.

Petition filed by hiding facts rejected with fine of Rs 25,000
According to another news related to the court in Gwalior itself, the Gwalior bench of the High Court rejected the petition of Rinku, accused in the rape case, to end the case on the basis of resignation. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 25 thousand on the accused.
In fact, the accused in this case registered in Dabra police station had earlier applied for bail thrice, which was rejected by the court. Then recently he filed a petition in the High Court to end the case, which was rejected by the single bench.
Hiding all these facts, the petitioner again filed a petition, which was exposed before the court by the advocate appearing on behalf of the government.
