Govardhan says that even after the formation of Telangana state, K.K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government ignored. His party BRS remained in power for 10 years, but only 11 km tunnel could be excavated.

He said that Revanth Reddy became CM in December 2023. He increased the budget fixed to Rs 3,152 crore to Rs 4,600 crore for making the tunnel.

Every minute 5 to 8 thousand liters of water is falling from the upper slab of the tunnel. Not only companies like Robinson and JP, Telangana Irrigation Department is also failing to estimate this danger correctly. This is the biggest failure of the SLBC project.
