Not only this, through this, bank accounts are being sold. The amount of cheating in these bank accounts is being sent to China to other crypto currency including USDT (dollar -like digital token) through the Crypto Exchange. This is the reason that now the Gwalior Police is going to write a letter to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center i.e. I4C to ban the Telegram app.
In this way, Telegram app becomes a gate-way of cheating
On the Telegram app, miscreants sitting in the country and abroad from thugs to account have been formed. In these groups, cheating is being cheated in the name of getting jobs or jobs by adding people. The entire link of selling accounts and sending money to different accounts is running from the Telegram app itself.
This app has emerged as a new threat. In the investigation of the Cybercrime Wing of the Gwalior Police, it has been revealed that in the last one year, 51 incidents of cheating were recorded from the Telegram app. Among them, there were maximum incidents of cheating in the name of job or work and in the name of investment.
Telegram app became villain in these cases
Fraud of 44.11 lakhs from a medical student: MBBS student Meghna Chauhan was added to a group on Telegram app in Gwalior. Meghna was first given the task of rating the hotel. He was first given a profit of 200 rupees. Then the fraud started. 44 lakh 11 thousand 363 rupees were cheated from them.
Chinese gang bought bank accounts from Telegram app
Inspector Absar Ahmed, posted at BSF’s Tekanpur Academy, was cheated for Rs 70.24 lakh for a month. Out of the cheated amount, 29 thousand rupees went to the account of Ankit Verma resident Kota. When he was caught, his two companions Akhil Singh resident Delhi and Aftaf Ahmed resident Jharkhand also came to light.
These people sold accounts to the Chinese gang through the Telegram app. In this, 29 thousand rupees reached out of the amount cheated by Absar Ahmed. Six percent of the commission was cut and the rest of the USDT currency was purchased. Which was sent to the pay-wallet mentioned by the Chinese citizen.
Letter will be written to ban the app
