60 thousand soldiers have been deployed in the Kumbh Mela.

Some terrorist organizations have hatched a conspiracy to target Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025. Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) have sent a confidential report to the Home Department of UP.

In this report sent last week, it has been claimed that Khalistani and Pakistani terrorists can target Mahakumbh by proxy. He has also started the work of activating his sleeper cell.

Dainik Bhaskar Has received this information from solid sources. The State LIU report has claimed that terrorists can enter the fair wearing sadhus, priests, Aghori and saffron clothes. Some similar inputs have also been given in the IB report.

This is the reason why secret policemen are being deployed in the Mahakumbh in the guise of sadhus, so that they can keep an eye on every activity in the fair area. They will be deployed at crowded places in the Kumbh Mela, in the pandals of the Akhara and on the banks of the Sangam.

Active from ATS to NIA Taking this report seriously, the State Home Department has activated all its wings. Teams of ATS, IB, STF, LIU, Bomb Disposal Squad and NIA are working in the Kumbh Mela.

After this alert, investigation of people entering the fair area has started. Policemen are standing with registers at every entry point. The names, addresses and mobile phones of those coming to the fair by car are being recorded. They are being matched with Aadhaar card.

The vehicles which are suspected are being thoroughly investigated. Photographs of suspicious vehicles and people are being taken and matched with the database available with the police.

Apart from this, the security of the fair has been strengthened with AI based CCTV cameras, drones and anti-drone systems. After this report, the police department and cyber cell have searched more than 6 thousand social media profiles. Many suspects are being monitored 24 hours through surveillance and call interception.

During this investigation, the State Intelligence Department got information about a suspicious social media account. The ‘secret code’ of terror is recorded in it.

Dainik Bhaskar On receiving the report, an officer of the intelligence agency engaged in the security of Maha Kumbh said on the condition of anonymity, ‘The Kumbh crowd is the target of terrorists. This information was given to the State Home Department only last week. From there this information is shared with central agencies.

The confidential report issued from the State Police Headquarters has also been sent to the Police Commissioner of Prayagraj, Director General of Police Information, Additional Director General of Police Law and Order, Additional Director General of Police Security, Additional Director General of Police ATS Uttar Pradesh and Senior Superintendent of Police of Kumbh district. After which investigation into this matter has started at different levels.

Threats are being received continuously A young man named Nasar Pathan has threatened on December 31 through his social media account that 1000 Hindus will be killed by bomb blast in Mahakumbh. A case has also been registered regarding this matter in Prayagraj Kotwali.

On his social media page, the youth has described himself as a resident of Bhawanipur, Purnia (Bihar). Cyber police station is busy investigating this matter. Information is being collected about this Instagram account user.

However, this message posted on Instagram has now been removed. The police has prepared the log-sheet of this account. Terrorist Pannu has also given threat Earlier, on December 24, after the encounter of three terrorists of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KJF) in Pilibhit, terrorist Pannu had threatened about Mahakumbh. Pilibhit police has also registered a case in this matter, which is under investigation.

3 layer security system activated To deal with such threats, the fair administration has prepared a three-tier security system. Earlier it was to be activated from 13th January, but now it has been activated from the night of 31st December. In this, check points have been installed at many places while entering the fair area, which will keep an eye on the person reaching the fair area at the first level itself.

Apart from this, underwater drones are being used, through which underwater activities can also be monitored. The administration has started reducing cyber patrolling. In this, social media accounts are being investigated.

For the first time in the history of Kumbh, a cyber police station has also been created in the fair area. The police has hired the team of Future Crime Research Foundation, which along with the team of IIT Kanpur will look after the arrangements of cyber patrolling. 2700 CCTVs have been installed in the fair area, which are equipped with AI capability. These cameras will also be able to issue alerts in situations like excessive crowd, barricade jumping, smoke etc.

Preparations to deal with nuclear attack in Mahakumbh An official associated with the Central Investigation Agency said that terrorists can use chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons to cause more damage in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. How will rescue work be done after such attacks? For this, a team of 25 experts has been formed. The Central Home Department itself has taken the responsibility of this through NIA.

Dr. Jitendra Shukla, who came after training from Narora Nuclear Center, said that as a precautionary measure, the Home Ministry has formed an expert team to determine how the injured will be treated in case of a chemical attack.

Vatsala Mishra is the chairperson of this Chemical Attack Treatment Team of the Home Ministry. He told that during the training held at Narora Nuclear Centre, the experts in their respective fields were taught how to free the person affected by radioactive elements from being radioactive, so that the person doing the treatment or any third party does not get affected by it.

The process of making the necessary machines and treatment centers to make the person affected by radioactive substances free from radioactive substances has started soon. For emergencies like chemical attack, three big wards in Swarup Rani Nehru Hospital have been equipped with all the necessary medical machines and facilities like beds etc.

12 kilometer river side area has been secured To prevent waterborne attacks, a river traffic system has also been created in an area of 12 kilometers. About 4000 boats will run under this river traffic system only. Water police will keep vigil on 50 bathing ghats. Blocks and nets have been installed to ensure that devotees do not go into deep water during bathing. For additional security, teams of PAC, SDRF and NDRF have also been deployed along with 25 divers of the Indian Navy.

About 800 personnel of ten PAC companies, 150 SDRF members, 12 NDRF teams and 35 water police personnel will be deployed for the security operation. Keeping security in mind, special track suits have been provided for divers, sailors, guides and shopkeepers.

Security of the fair is challenging, not impossible: Vikram Singh Former DGP of Uttar Pradesh Vikram Singh told us that this Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest gathering, is full of challenges from the security point of view. Crores of devotees come here in a day, it can be a soft target for terrorists. However, police and technology are capable of solving this problem. There has been a lot of difference between when I was ADG Law and Order 25 years ago and today.
