The blow of the system! 10 years passed since selection, woman is waiting for appointment letter for government job

Dehradun:

To get a good job, people study hard and give government job exams in the hope of a better life. However, despite excellent performance and selection in the examination, it is not certain that you will get the job. The impact of the government system keeps some people unemployed even after selection. Soni Bhandari of Dehradun passed the government examination and got third rank among women candidates, but has not received the appointment letter from 2015 till date. The brunt of the system has made her unemployed and fighting the system with her husband is now a part of everyday life.

Soni Bhandari, resident of Kandoli village of Dehradun, had given the computer programmer exam in the year 2015. This examination was conducted by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission of Uttarakhand in 2015 and in the examination, Soni Bhandari stood third in the women category with 78.75 percent. Soni Bhandari had full hope that after passing this examination, she would get the appointment letter and she would soon get a job.

It’s been 10 years since those things happened. Soni Bhandari is still struggling to get the appointment letter, even though Soni Bhandari has all the necessary documents, but still the system is such that instead of getting the appointment letter, she is sometimes forced to go to the court and sometimes to the government department. Used to be.

Understand the whole matter in this way

Soni Bhandari was very happy after passing the examination, but instead of giving appointment, the Department of Cultural Technical Education gave her a rejection letter. When the department was asked the reason for the rejection, the reason given was that the O Level Diploma was not in comparison to the Diploma in Computer Application demanded in the release. After this, Soni Bhandari and her husband talked to the then Technical Education Secretary in the government. The then Technical Education Secretary RK Sudhanshu sought information in this regard from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The Council clearly wrote that O Level Diploma has been considered before Diploma in Computer Applications i.e. DCA, but Soni Bhandari did not get appointment from the Technical Education Department. Defeated, Bhandari took refuge in the High Court and in 2019, the High Court directed for immediate disposal of this case.

The disease caused by the system

Despite the orders of the Government of India and the High Court, this matter is pending for 10 years. The situation is such that Soni Bhandari has become an anxiety patient. While talking to NDTV, she said that when she went to take the exam, her son was 2 years old. He had household responsibilities, yet he took the exam and got third place in the ranking. Today her son is 12 years old and despite passing the computer programming exam in 2015, she is still holding out hope for appointment.
