Bhopal. Two friends died and another was injured when a speeding car fell into a canal while making a reel in Bhopal on Thursday. In Inayatpur village of Kolar area, students traveling in a car were making a reel by coming out of the gate of the moving vehicle. During this, the car lost its balance, due to which it fell from the bridge into the canal.

How did the accident happen?

On Wednesday night, a young man was making a reel while driving a car at high speed on Kolar Road. One of his hands was on the steering wheel and the other hand was holding the mobile phone, then the narrow road of Inayatpur bridge came in front and the uncontrolled car flew in the air like a film scene, knocking down the barricades on the bridge and then collided with the trees and fell into the Kerava river 50 meters away. Fell down.

Two killed, third injured

In the accident, car driver 22-year-old Vineet Daksha and 25-year-old Palash Gaikwad, who was sitting with him in the front of the car, died, while 24-year-old Piyush Gajbhiye, who was sitting behind, was injured. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and took out the youth trapped in the car and took them to the hospital, where doctors declared two of them dead, while the treatment of the injured is going on.

Both got compassionate appointment

According to Kolar police station in-charge Sanjay Soni, Shahpura resident Vineet and Kolar resident Palash were employees of PWD. Both of them received Anukpa appointment after the death of their father. Palash’s friend Piyush also lives in Kolar and is an engineer in Bangalore.

left home for a party

At around 9 pm on Wednesday night, all three had left after organizing a party at their homes. They were returning home after partying at a dhaba near Kajlikheda. Vineet was making a reel on his mobile while driving at quarter to twelve in the night, when the car entered the side of the bridge in front of Drishti City and fell into the river.

A friend jumped in first, but did not survive.

Vineet and Piyush were trapped in the car, while Palash, seeing the car going out of control, had already opened the gate and jumped out, which caused head injury and death. Police found video recording started on Vineet’s phone, which was later stopped by the police. This incident has been captured in CCTV.

Incomplete construction work is also a reason for the accident

The width of Kolar six-lane road reduces to half after reaching Inayatpur bridge. When the bridge comes while going from Kajlikheda to Kolar, the left lane road gets closed further. There the construction agency had to make the railing of the bridge.

For a long time, work was being done by installing barricades instead of railings. Local people said that there is a problem of street lighting at night. Probably the car driver was driving on the left lane and went straight and entered the barricade, causing a tragic accident.
