The Center approved the rope-way project for Kedarnath Dham and Hemkund Sahib. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, ‘The journey which is completed in 8-9 hours now will be reduced to 36 minutes. It will have a seating capacity of 36 people.

Under the National Ropeway Development Program, a ropeway from Sonprayag to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand and from Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib Ji (12.4 km) will be built. The National Highway Logistic Management will create it.

The temple of Lord Shiva is in Kedarnath. It is at an altitude of 3,584 meters above sea level. Here is the Mandakini River. Kedarnath Dham is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

He informed that three new railway projects in the Union Cabinet meeting, National Natural Farming Mission for Farmers, ‘One Nation One Subscription’ for the youth and the Atal Innovation Mission 2.0 have also been approved.

It will pass through NTR Vijayawada and Guntur districts of Andhra Pradesh and Khammam districts of Telangana.

Doubling in Bihar will increase connectivity to Nepal, Northeast India. Along with freight trains, there will be facilities in the movement of passenger trains. Both schemes will cover 8 districts of three states Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bihar.
