How to write Ravi Kumar’s badass dialogues
The most talked about thing about Badass Ravi Kumar are its dialogues. This has been written by Bunty Rathore. Bunty is very fond of films of the 80s. He fulfilled this hobby by writing dialogues in films. First of all he wrote the dialogues for Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Khiladi 786’. This was a film produced by Himesh Reshammiya. After this, when Himesh was making The Xpose himself, he wanted Bunty to write the dialogues for it. Its dialogue ‘There will not be as much blood in your body as Ravikumar urinates in one go’ became very famous. Bunty had earlier written it like this, ‘As much blood as there is in your body, I drain it into the drain’. Later its original version was developed. Himesh did not want to do this film at first. Bunty removed his hesitation. Himesh would record the dialogues and send them, then Bunty would send it in his own voice. In this way Himesh mastered the dialogues of Ravi Kumar.

However, ‘The Xpose’ came and was also a hit. Then Himesh disappeared. But he wanted to make a sequel of this film, which could not happen. Eight years passed. Bunty was busy with herself, Himesh was busy with himself. Then one day Himesh called Bunty and said that he wanted to make a spinoff of Ravi Kumar’s character. Bunty agreed. He started developing the script. Four to five drafts had been written. One day Himesh and Bunty were going to meet Salman Khan. During this, he narrated a dialogue to Himesh, which he had written for Ajay Devgan in ‘Total Dhamaal’. But it was not used in the film. That line was ‘We dry our clothes in the same storms in which the huts of people like you are blown away.’ This line clicked with Himesh. He asked Bunty to WhatsApp it. This was the first thing which was finalized for Badass Ravi Kumar.
Oscar winning director has made Badass Ravi Kumar
The story of its director Keith Gomes is also very brilliant. He wanted to do films. But for some reason he returned disappointed with this world. He swore never to return to this again. Then Sajid Nadiadwala, who made Salman Khan’s film ‘Kick’, called him. He wanted Keith to work on ‘Kick’. Keith wrote ‘Kick’. He was also its associate director. The movie went on. After this, Keith started trying to find his voice through films. He started making short films. In this series, a short film named ‘Shameless’ was made in 2018.
